The fourth weekend of July (the 25th, 26th, and 27th) marks the Sant Antoni patron saint festivities in Fornells. Here we present a festival program full of activities for the whole family.
An explosion of celebration and tradition
Fornells dresses up to celebrate its patron saint festivities in honor of Saint Anthony the Abbot. A unique event that combines religious fervor, music, gastronomy, and activities for all ages.
The festivities kick off with the traditional “Pregó,” a proclamation that initiates the celebrations. In the following days, the streets fill with parades, “jaleos,” and “qualcades.”
Music plays a leading role in the festivities. Open-air dances, concerts and parties liven up the summer nights in this small coastal town.
Gastronomy is also a star of the show. Don’t miss the chance to taste typical products such as “sobrasada“, “Mahón cheese” or the classic “pomada” of the festivities.
The Sant Antoni festivities in Fornells are a unique opportunity to experience Menorcan culture in all its splendor. A journey into the island’s most deep-rooted traditions, where joy and hospitality are contagious on every corner.
