Museum of general character that shows us the history of the human occupation of Menorca through its movable goods. In 2018 it received a major remodeling and improvement, renovating all its exhibition rooms with new pieces.

Showrooms
It shows the history of human occupation of Menorca through the new rooms. Those of prehistory, the Roman period, the Islamic period, the Christian conquest, the time of the Habsburgs, the British Menorca of the eighteenth century and the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, to finish talking about the future of the island. Especially noteworthy are the new pieces that are now on display.
Its rooms occupy the living space of the Franciscan monks, in a delicate 18th century cloister.

Winter schedule (October/May)
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 am to 2 pm.
Closed: Monday, December 25, January 1, 6 and 17.
The ticket office will remain open until half an hour before the Museum closes.
Summer schedule (June/September)
Tuesday to Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. / 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Closed: Monday and September 7 and 8.
