The beach Cala Alcaufar is located on the southeast coast of Menorca in the municipality of San Lluis. This small cove of calm waters is ideal to go with the family.
A family cove
Small cove of semi-urban character very sheltered, it has an entrance of water of the sea of great length that does that it is a beach of very calm and clean waters, with aspect of a great swimming pool of turquoise blue color.
On one side of the cove there is an area with several fishermen’s houses with several anchoring points for boats.
It has a hotel and a restaurant right on the beach and good access for people with disabilities and children that make it ideal for family tourism..

If you head north you can visit the beach of s’Algar. s’Algar beach (20 minutes) or the spectacular Rafalet cove (30 minutes). Remember to bring good shoes and provisions in case you visit Rafalet.
Tips and recommendations
- There is a free parking about 50 meters away on the main street of the urbanization.
- If you like photography, don’t forget to bring your cell phone or camera, you will be able to take spectacular pictures.
- At the end of the day when the sun goes down you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

How to get there
From Sant Lluís, take the road towards Punta Prima. A few kilometers before arriving, you will find a detour, go straight on towards Cala Alcaufar. The road leads you through a residential area until you reach the cove. You can park in the free parking lot a few meters from the sand.
